Default Why are polymock peices so expensive?

Why the heck? Ive seen people selling polymock pieces for 100k+10ectos. WHY? They give you no bonus, no other player knows you have them as they dont show up anywhere except solo PvE. And the reputation gain from winning polymock is so low compared to the time required. Is there something I am missing here? And how do you get other polymock peices?

none of that matters.

if its rare, then there will be someone that will pay to have it. period

It would be worse if they were more important and had high demand

If its rare, people will want it no mater how usless it is, mini pets come to mind in that aspect.

Ya but minipets you can show off to other players. Polymock peices you cannot.

It's about the fun of playing as these pieces and a step closer to playing as a Mursaat.

I found one of those gold Gaki pieces in a dungeon chest and I used it for the Polymock quests. I found the quests a breeze with it.

Other than losing the first 2 times against Blarp because I was still trying to figure out the new skills, I only lost one other time (only barely against Hoff) against all the subsequent opponents.

So the gold pieces do make your life a lot easier.
